I am trying to log in to the first day of class and getting an error message: what do I do?

We understand how frustrating technical issues can be, especially on the first day of class. Don't worry, we'll get this sorted out!

Follow these steps to troubleshoot:

  • Verify Your Uvaro Account: Make sure you're logged into your Uvaro account. If you're not, or if you've forgotten your password, go ahead and reset it. Not being logged into your account while on Uvaro.com is a common reason for Course troubles on day 1.
  • Check the Course Link: Ensure you're clicking the correct link to join the class. You can find this link in the ‘Upcoming Events’ section of your account homepage, the event invite itself, or bookmarked at the top of your cohort's Slack channel.
  • Timing is Everything: Double-check the time you're trying to log in. Classrooms usually open 1 hour before the class starts. If you're too early, you'll encounter an error page.
  • Update Your Browser: Make sure your internet browser is up-to-date. Outdated browsers can sometimes cause issues.
  • Reach Out for Help: If you've tried all the above and still encounter issues, reach out for support. Good places to do so include your cohort's Slack channel, the #help-blackboard channel, or by emailing help@uvaro.com. Including screenshots of the error can be very helpful.

Rest assured, we're here to help you resolve this so you can focus on what really matters—your learning journey!
